Community Funded Project Space // Brooklyn, NY

About us

PARADICE PALASE is a curatorial project space in Brooklyn, NY that confronts the limitations of the art world by building an artist-first, community-minded and inclusive model. We are dedicated to furthering the development of artists and building a symbiotic network of patrons and creators. We create accessibility in the arts by offering affordable artwork, free & low-cost programs and workshops, and membership benefits to our community.

Founded in 2017 by Kat Ryals and Lauren Elise Hirshfield, who both previously sought outlets for their artistic and curatorial efforts, PARADICE PALASE is the love child of “DIY” and art world utopia.

We seek to:

  • develop alternative and sustainable funding methods for the arts
  • grow our artist and patron networks to increase accessibility for both sides
  • continuously build relationships with emerging and underrepresented artists

Mission Statement

PARADICE PALASE curates publicly funded exhibitions and provides accessible programs and workshops to foster community engagement and broaden visibility for artists.

Vision Statement

A new cultural paradigm for artist development and arts patronage.
