Audra Verona Lambert
Audra Verona Lambert is a curator, art historian and strategic arts consultant living and working in the Midwest and New York, NY. She is the Founder/Principal of ANTE Curatorial (www.antecedentprojects.com) and serves as Curator at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art with the University of Southern Indiana.
Audra’s work in the art field spans arts nonprofit administration with More Art NYC and ArtTable, curatorial work and PR work for various nonprofit and NGO agencies in the New York City metropolitan area and a stint in art shipping for Crozier/Iron Mountain. She has contributed art criticism to Texte zur Kunst, Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art, Cultbytes and more.
From 2014-2023, she ran ANTE mag, a look into arts and culture with an emphasis on independent creatives, and from 2020-22, she ran Amos Eno Gallery artist cooperative gallery in Brooklyn. Lambert holds an MA in Art History and Visual Studies from Lindenwood, MO (2021) and a BA in Art History and Asian Studies from St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ, and a study abroad certificate from Kansai Gaidai University, Hirakata-shi, Japan.
She was raised in South Louisiana and has spent time researching abroad in France, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Japan.
