Announcing: a Summer Sculpture Garden at ChaNorth

Our Director Kat Ryals and ChaNorth Director Brigitta Varadi have teamed up to organize an outdoor sculpture presentation of existing and new site-specific works by PARADICE PALASE members and ChaNorth alumni, in conjunction with Upstate Art Weekend this summer.

Alongside our curatorial committee - Sammy Bennett, Lauren Hirshfield, and Jonathan Sims - 24 proposed artworks have been selected and will be installed throughout the idyllic grounds of ChaNorth’s property in Pine Plains, NY.

Participating artists include:

Adina Andrus, Alison Kudlow, Allison DeBritz, Alyssa McClenaghan, Brigitta Varadi, Cara Lynch, Charlotte Woolf, Jacqueline Tull, Jonathan Sims, Kat Ryals, Kate Rusek, Lauren Carly Shaw, Marianna Peragallo, Melissa Eder, Nadia Belalia, Natsuki Takauji, Noémie Jennifer Bonnet, Peter Fulop, Saki Sato, Sammy Bennett, and Sophia Sobers

The garden will be open to visitors July 19th & 20th 12-6pm each day (Upstate Art Weekend) and August 30th & 31st, as well as by appointment July 5 - August 31.
